*UPDATE* I'm leaving the original review, but I did want to drive home that the shelf that wasn't busted is pretty darn nice, and they reached out and offered a replacement for the broken one. I'm very thankful for that!I feel bad for giving this 2 stars. It would've been perfect, and I'm not sure whose fault this is. So I'm going to write my experience anyway. I feel like the packaging could be a lot better, to actually protect the item. When mine arrived, the original box was tore open, split in half, one shelf was broken (I say broken, because the little triangle wood pieces added for support at the corners were snapped, leaving one entire shelf broken in half, and all of the seems are loose. I think it can be repaired pretty easily, which is what I'm going to do) and appeared to be shoved in the box after it was broken. The original box was inside an amazon box, with a few air-pockets for "protection". So if this happens a lot with this item, go ahead and add a thing of wood glue to your order, maybe some tack nails. I will say, the one shelf that isn't shattered is pretty nice. Other than the original glue leaking out of the seems, the finish is nice, and the wood is smooth. I'm off to Lowe's to purchase some glue, I hope you guys have a better experience.P.S. I bought these to hang up next to some hexagonal acoustic treatment I also purchased on Amazon, they align perfectly, and will look great when I'm able to get it repaired and hung up.We love our purchase! Easy to assemble and we look to purchase more to make more of a statement. Would recommend to friends.I bought 2 sets of these shelves and each and every one of them was broken into 2 or more pieces when I opened them. Now I'm wood-gluing them back together which was super annoying. I like the way they look but these need to packaged differently.Absolutely love these shelves!! I hung them over my bed and they look great. They are not the sturdiest shelves, it looks like they might be glued together, but based on their size you wouldn’t be putting anything too heavy on them so this isn’t a problem at all. Also super easy to hang which is always a plus!Absolutely amazing pieces to upgrade a room. The shelves are removable to allow for different looks. Highly recommendVery nice quality and easy to hangPainted it so that it will go with our decor. Sturdy and love the shape. A bit price tho.These are higher quality than I was expecting!
